Ninja Sport Kids Classes
Building confidence and strength through ninja
Our Ninja Sport classes build strength through functional movement and exercise, all while developing ninja skills on the course. These classes require no previous experience or fitness level.
Never touched an obstacle before? No worries, we’ve got you covered! Everything in our classes can be scaled to meet personal needs. These classes are designed for kids ages 6–8 and 9–12. Teens and adults, check out our Nina Sport Teens/Adults classes!
These in-depth, skill-based classes focus on goal setting and personal development. Participants of these classes will learn a wide variety of functional movements, principles of parkour, and ninja. We focus on exercises and drills that will build strength, body awareness, and mental fortitude—three of the most important aspects of ninja. These are all skills that can be transferred to many different sports and daily life. Come build your ninja skills alongside your peers with expert guidance from our knowledgeable certified coaches! Our goal is to foster a safe, supportive and motivating environment for all.
Calling all new ninjas! If you’re trying ninja for the first time this is the best place to start. Ninja Sport Level 1 focuses on building the foundational strength and body awareness necessary for basic obstacles. We’ll work through a variety of different drills and exercises both on and off the course! We split these classes into two main age groups: 6–8 and 9–12. For ages 13 and up, check out our Ninja Sport Teen/Adult classes.
No prior experience necessary.
Take your skills to the next level with our Ninja Sport Level 2 classes. These classes will build upon existing skills developed in Level 1 classes, and hone in on more specific techniques needed to utilize more difficult obstacles – both upper body and lower body/balance. Level 2 classes also focus on continuing to develop grip strength, core strength, and upper body strength – all of which are incredibly important to be a successful ninja. Level 2 classes are designed for ages 9–12.
Participation in Level 2 classes is by invite only. There are some general benchmark guidelines listed below, outlining some examples of skills needed to move up to Level 2 classes. Once a coach has approved athlete for Level 2, we will update your membership accordingly so you can reserve Level 2 classes.
Level 2 Sample Benchmarks
Athletes looking to move up to Level 2 classes should be able to successfully complete these benchmarks listed below. This is not a complete list of benchmarks, but it does give a general guideline of skills needed to advance. It is still up to the coach discretion as to when to move an athlete to Level 2.
Beyond Level 2
Athletes looking for the next step from Level 2 are encouraged to join our competitive ninja team. Our team, open to ages eight and up, focuses on building obstacle skills, strategies, techniques, as well as the body awareness and strength needed to succeed at competition-level. We emphasize training for competitions, and travel as a team to various regional ninja competitions throughout Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia.
